I’m afraid I left the design of my new website entirely in the hands of the young upstart who has repaid my trust by introducing childish comments about fossils and Jurassic Park.
I suppose that’s what passes for wit in Pentlepoir.
To add insult to injury, he has created a new password for me – ageconcern – and he won’t tell me how to change it.
I could just about raise a smile when he took to signing off his emails “Help the aged (East Williamston branch)” but his lack of respect for his elders (and betters) has now gone past being funny.
He can be assured that, at a time of my own choosing, revenge will be swift and terrible.
He is now trying to persuade me to introduce a comments section.
I thought he was trying to be helpful until he said: “At least that will give people something interesting to read.”
The author of that other website is an apostrophe vigilante and last week he took great delight in pointing out an inappropriate it’s on my website.
I didn’t bother to make a correction – little things please little minds, and its not for me to spoil his fun.
That said, I hope you find the new layout an improvement and thank you Jacob – all, or nearly all, is forgiven.
